Gurr & Purr is a professional pet sitting service with a little extra.

Gurr & Purr is insured, bonded, and a member of Pet Sitters International, the world’s largest educational association for professional pet sitters, and backed by their Certified Professional Pet Sitter program. I am trained in pet First Aid and CPR. I've also completed a Canine Defensive Handling Certificate, a Feline Behavior & Psychology Certificate, Feline Diabetes and Arthritis courses and a Caring for Mobility-Challenged Dogs course. As a former Veterinarian Assistant I am able to care for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, other small animals, senior pets, and special needs pets needing oral medications, sub Q injections, recovering from surgery, and pets with separation anxiety.

I spent over 8 years as a coordinator and foster with Team Cat Rescue which has given me much experience in feline behavior challenges.

I prefer to work one on one with your pets instead of booking multiple clients. This ensures your pets have my undivided attention with no distractions. Your fur child is treated as part of my family, not a visitor, when boarding in my home. Visits to your home are typically longer than average so that pets have interaction and affection, as well as taking care of their essential needs.
I live in a quiet residential neighborhood with a park just steps from my door. My home has a fully enclosed fenced backyard and air conditioning throughout the house to ensure pets are comfortable in the summer months. Cats enjoy large private accommodations with direct, exclusive access to an enclosed catio. Whether it's boarding, home visits, etc., your booking will be customized to suit your pet's needs. Additional services are offered to complete a head to tail visit.

Service areas include; Grimsby, Beamsville, Winona, Vineland, Smithville, Jordan, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, St. Catharines, and beyond.
